Inverell is proud to boast an array of service organisations which proivide community orientated activities and initiatives for the Inverell district and beyond. From fund raising to providing food at local events, they are present in many shapes and forms all year round, in both times of celebration, disaster or need. Apex is a volunteer community service organisation that for Australians aged 18 to 45. Apex members work together to serve the community by promoting service, fellowship and community spirit. They work not only in the local community, but are highly involved in many wider social issues.
Besides the satisfaction from helping others, members benefit from becoming better leaders and team players, and from improved presentation and public speaking skills, networking and friendship building.
Apex holds fortnightly meetings which are lively and interesting, and arrange for rewarding and entertaining work and fundraising activities within the community.

- COUNTRY WOMENS ASSOCIATION (CWA)
The CWA is the largest womens organisation in Australia with a membership of approximately 25,500 in 1500 branches around the States and Territory. The CWA aims to improve the conditions for women and children and make life better for families, especially those living in rural and remote Australia.
CWA of NSW Inverell Branch allows women to get together to socialise and discuss issues of relevance to them and their lifestyles. Supporting women, children and families in rural areas through health and welfare. New members are welcome.

- LEGACY AUSTRALIA
Legacy is a charity providing services to Australian families suffering financially and socially after the incapacitation or death of a spouse or parent, during or after their defence force service.
Lions Clubs aim to serve and help people in our community who are less fortunate, while having fun and enjoying fellowship. Community minded people are welcome to enquire about their activities and membership.

Inverell Lions is a service club that is involved in fundraising, helping people and building local community projects. Inverell Lions run the Sapphire City Markets on the first and third Sunday of each month, on the banks of the Macintyre River in Campbell Park starting 6.30am, for more information please contact Phil Beeton 6721 5871 between 6 and 9pm. Quotas motto - We Share - guides members to develop friendships, encourage others, and promote international understanding. Quota is known especially for service to disadvantaged women and children and to people who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, and speech-impaired.
