Library Renovation
The Inverell Public Library has undergone a twelve month, $2.2 million renovation. The building has doubled in size, and features enlarged collection areas, a fully refurbished interior, and an enclosed reading deck. New shelving improves access to the expanded collection, with user friendly shelf heights, and wide aisles to make browsing easy. Our new magazine and newspaper reading area is flooded with natural light, and features an interesting wall and ceiling treatment. Cosy chairs and tables invite patrons to linger. The childrens area is bright and colourful, inviting exploration of the enlarged collection. Improved amenties include a parents room, and a water bubbler.
