The Inverell Pool is a 50 metre pool with an adjustable boom that divides the upper 25 meter and lower 25 meter sections to allow for heating of the shallow portion of the pool during the winter months. The lower 25 metre section is enclosed with a timber laminate structure to provide protection from the elements and trap heat while the water is heated during winter. The structure not only provides an enclosure for winter, but also a 99.9% UV free area in summer. The facility now provides Inverell and the surrounding district with a public pool that may be utilised throughout the entire year. The water temperature is maintained at 28 degrees Celsius and the air temperature approximately 30 degrees Celsius during winter.

Inverell Swimming Pool opening times are available to download for your information. [Download]

Entry into the pool is $4.50 per adult and $3.50 per child. Season passes are available for purchase. Bookings for the Swimming Pool for summer and winter sports (competition) and social events can be made through the Inverell Pool Manager, Mick Hoynes, by calling 6722 3939.
